Located within very easy walking distance of Mijas village, Villa Secreta enjoys a private location which is unsurpassed. There is plenty of private parking space to the front of the villa. At entry level is the spacious, air conditioned living area with adjoining dining space. Also at this level are two bedrooms, bathroom, guest cloakroom and a simply superb fully-fitted kitchen complete with dishwasher and dedicated wine fridge.
This villa is ideal for those who like all on one level. From here there is the door to the shaded terrace and garden area with its own, gated pool area. The 8 x 4 metre pool has Roman steps which make getting in and out very easy. Views from here are simply spectacular and panoramic across the Mediterranean. There is a separate laundry room to one side of the garden.
The upper level is its own studio with gallery suite, large, air conditioned main bedroom, dressing space and ensuite facilities. There is a full-width terrace at this level where you can sunbathe in complete privacy whilst taking in the superb views and on some days you can see the Atlas Mountains in North Africa – amazing!

From the villa is is about 100 metres to the nearest restaurant ‘La Fuente’ and the prawns pil-pil are particularly good. A little further on is a good Chinese restaurant and continuing towards the village centre you will pass two pharmacies, a supermarket, Italian, Indian and Spanish restaurants.
At the centre of the village is the main square ‘La Plaza Virgen de la Peña’ with horse and donkey taxis, great locations for photo opportunities. Around the periphery of the square are numerous craft and leather shops and the quality of goods on sale is excellent and you can enjoy haggling prices with the various owners. You can then take the steps up to the next level of the village and follow the cobbled street to the ‘Plaza Constitución’ again with plenty of shops – leather goods are particularly fine quality.
The Alcazaba restaurant features huge windows with unbeatable views, the food is very good – do try the paella. To one corner of Plaza Constitución is the Mayan Monkey ice cream and chocolate factory and I can personally recommend the salted peanut ice cream.
The villa will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival with bedlinen, towels and kitchen/ bathroom essentials provided.
The cost of final cleaning and laundry services is not included; costs are €90 for cleaning and laundry at €12,50 per person.
Extra maid service can be ordered if you wish at €10 per hour.
Access is required each week on a predetermined day for garden and pool maintenance.
Check in is from 14.00 – 16.00 and check out is at 10.00 a.m. on day of departure. These times can be changed by prior arrangement.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT – This is a refundable deposit of €500 and refund is made after the villa has been checked over and within seven working days of your departure. We do ask you to let us know of any breakage or damage when it happens so we can make an assessment and agree the cost of rectification. Excessive noise leading to complaints by neighbours is also considered damage and a suitable deduction made from the damage bond.
